Startups are being offered the chance to take on a fully funded intern from one of Leicester’s two universities to help grow their companies.

The Leicester Graduate City Project, part funded by the European Social Fund, will see 2nd year students join SME businesses to work on a key area of activity.

Placements will be 18.5 hours per week and could range from new product research to website development.

Interns will join on the 14th June for six weeks.

The aim of the programme is to help retain graduate talent within the city as a “high percentage of them do not remain in Leicester following graduation”, according to project website.
