Two startups from Leicestershire have been selected by global bank Santander for its Universities Entrepreneurship Awards.

Insect protein startup BeoBia based at Loughborough University and natural cosmetics brand Gamanity at the University of Leicester have each been chosen to take part in the programme between May-October.

It will culminate in both startups competing for a chance to win up to 75-thousand-pounds worth of  business support.

Gamanity said on Linkedin:

“We would like to thank the #mentoring from Shaun Lynes and the support of Rajinder Bhuhi 🍀. Thank you also to the Research and Enterprise Division (RED) and Leicester Innovation Hub from the University of Leicester”

Thomas Constant founder of BeoBia said:
