Founders encouraged to apply for “one of the most prestigious UK accreditations”

Startup founders in Leicester are being encouraged to apply for the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2022.

There are 4 categories which businesses and organisations can apply for, including: International Trade, Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity Through Social Mobility.

Former winner of the award Dr Nik Kotecha of Morningside Pharmaceuticals in Leicester describes it as “one of the most prestigious UK accreditations and a hallmark of excellence around the world”.

There has been a lack of entries from the East Midlands in the past but previous winners have spoken about the benefits including global recognition, increase in sales and boosting staff morale.

Applications must be submitted online by 9^th September 2021.
