A Leicester based educational games startup has launched its new website and an array of new products, ahead of the climate change conference COP26.

Future We Want, which went through the Leicester Startups Accelerator, has just made its website bananasgame.co.uk live, where it’s selling the ‘How Bad Are Bananas?’ games.

The game is based on the book by the same name by Mike Berners-Lee.

Future We Want has also built a prototype of its online carbon footprint game, which it wants to test with users.

On Linkedin, Future We Want said:

“Help us to build our beta climate change game to take to COP26. We have – rather excitingly and with government backing – produced a prototype that we’d LOVE to test with you very soon.

“Would you like to help us make a Carbon Footprint Game to help the world’s people understand the real issues?! We’d love to have you along for the journey!!!”

Future We Want went through the Leicester Startups Accelerator and has been accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project to deliver courses to make people aware of the impact of everyday activities on the climate, and knowing what steps can be taken to reduce emissions.
