Startup weekends are a key part of the tech calendar in innovative cities all over the world so we’re really pleased to have a Launch48 event in September hosted by LCB Depot. Here is a bit more background….
Launch48 Leicester, starts on the Friday night of 6th September through to the evening of 8th September at LCB Depot.
The event is aimed at anyone (including non-techies) with great ideas for web, app or other tech businesses and anyone with tech skills who can help develop those ideas into solid business proposals. Previous Launch48 events have resulted in a number of real companies forming so you never know – this could be your root to tech success!
Participants will pitch their ideas to experienced business experts and the other participants and the best projects will be chosen to form teams for the weekend. You will receive mentoring from experts as well as food and drinks throughout and the teams will pitch their fully thought out plans on the Sunday evening.
