A Loughborough graduate’s medtech startup has been shortlisted for a Barclays Start-Up Award.
ACT Medical is up for the national accolade, which has previously won the Global Medical James Dyson Award.
Founder Joseph Bentley has also been granted a fellowship from the Royal Academy of Engineering for developing a portable device aimed at reducing deaths from knife wounds.
Joseph said:
