A Loughborough based tele-care startup has been added to a list of Government approved companies for its proven disruption and radical innovation.

Alcuris has been appointed to the Spark Technology Innovation Marketplace, which aims to provide a smarter way for public sector customers to access the very latest proven technologies.

Alcuris was founded by Loughborough University graduate Alex Nash. The company builds Memohub – a telecare system which combines an alarm system, activity monitoring and carer logging in a single product.

Alex said on Linkedin:

“We are excited to see our Memo Next Generation Telecare suite recognised in this way and pleased that our customers have a new means of procuring our innovative services.

With the shift from analogue equipment to digital services, the increasing focus on proactive preventative services and rising demand pressures in the face of budgetary constraints we look forward to our public sector clients taking advantage of this innovative DPS from Crown Commercial Service.”

A webinar all about Spark Technology Innovation Marketplace is  taking place on Nov 18.
