A sustainable food startup founded in Loughborough has opened up its first investment round.
BeoBia produce home hardware products that encourage people to recycle their uneaten fruit and vegetables and turn it into pet food.
The company’s founder Thomas Constant says:
“Our aim is to become the leading global retailer of affordable and sustainable home-grown insect protein. We are looking for £150,000 seed investment for a 17%stake in our business, which will be turning over £1.9 million by 2025 and returning a 51% gross margin.
