A Leicester health-tech founder has been speaking in Parliament about the future of UK life sciences.
Charlotte Brown the entrepreneur behind Bloombuddy, was in London for Unlock the Future of UK Life Sciences, which brought together policymakers, researchers, industry leaders and innovators to discuss how the UK can accelerate the journey from scientific discovery to system‑wide adoption of new technologies.
Charlotte said the visit provided invaluable connections across UK Government and NHS leadership:
“It gave me a unique insight into where Bloombuddy may experience bottlenecks and ultimately, gave me a chance to ask some hard questions to see where my app would sit in the UK Health market.”
Bloombuddy is a platform designed to help women navigate pregnancy loss, abortion, birth trauma and more with personalised guidance, symptom tracking and expert‑led resources.
