Young founders from Leicester are being encouraged to apply to a new fund which promises £20k for successful applicants.

Reed’s All About Business Entrepreneurs Fun will award £20k to 66 young people aged between 18-26.

The recruitment agency has launched the fund to celebrate 60 years of business

Chairman and CEO James Reed started his company aged 26 and said:

“Nearly one million 18-to-24-year-olds are out of employment or training, this is simply not good enough. We need our young people to do meaningful work for their wellbeing and for the wellbeing of the economy. We need to encourage young people to set up shop and start their entrepreneurial journey now.”

The first stage of the fund is an initial application, which has a deadline of 7th July 2026. After this applicants will be shortlisted before a final pitch event in September.
