A Loughborough graduate’s startup has passed $1 million in total funding after closing an $800k round.

Founded by Henry Brogan and Tyler McCarthy, BidScript helps bid and proposal professionals speed up the process of writing tenders.

The new funding will go towards product development and team growth, with the founders saying the money means more time spent building alongside the bid and proposal teams who use the platform. BidScript previously raised £200k backed by Praetura Ventures, the British Business Bank and the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund in December 2024.

Henry said:

“When we started BidScript, we made a deliberate choice. We weren’t going to build another AI writing tool and hope for the best. We were going to go deep on one of the most complex, demanding professions in business – and build something that actually reflects how bid and proposal teams work.”
