The popular Leicester chocolate brand Cocoa Amore is launching a brand new healthy juice drink on Kickstarter.
Cocoa Quench is a nutritious superfood drink made using the often discarded parts of the cacao fruit.
Founder Peter Gardner says only 30% of one cacao fruit is ever used (for chocolate), whilst the rest is wasted. This amounts to 10 million metric tonnes of wasted fruit each year.
His drink, which is 100% natural, aims to be the first to market in the £3.5b UK healthy drinks industry.
The startup was on the sixth Leicester Startups Accelerator and on the 8th January will launch on Kickstarter.
