Food allergy app featured on BBC Radio

A current participant on the Leicester Startups Accelerator has been featured on BBC Radio Leicester.

Sophia Turner was a guest on he mid-afternoon show discussing her app for people with food allergies, Safe Appetite.

During the interview Sophia explained the story behind the app, which she developed after herself suffering from severe allergies.

When asked if she had previous ‘app knowledge’, Sophia replied:

“I’m literally the most non techy person ever. I just went out there, networked and did some research, and got in touch with the right people.”

During the feature the entrepreneur also revealed that her app Safe Appetite is currently undergoing an update with AI being incorporated within the platform.
