Leicester fintech startup tuck has been featured in a number of national news publications for how much the app has saved customers money.
The cash-back app was covered in OK Magazine, Daily Mirror, MSN, Daily Express, Birmingham Mail and other outlets largely telling the story of a Birmingham mother who accumulated £400 since using tuck on her weekly shopping.
According to the founders 61% of UK adults reported their cost of living went up last month. 95% of those said food shopping was the main culprit. Co-founder Neel Thakrar said:
“When a real person’s story lands in the national press, you know you’re onto something.
“People aren’t looking for a new way to live – they’re looking for a way to make the life they already have a little bit easier.
“That’s exactly who we built tuck. for. And when real users start telling that story themselves, and the press starts amplifying it – that’s when you know the product is doing what it’s supposed to.”
