A Loughborough startup developing a device to help babies sleep is celebrating after fully assembling and completing a trial prototype.

Ryan White’s Mimic Motion aims to transform babies sleep with technology that mimics the same effect as riding in a car.

Following months of design, engineering, and iteration, the entrepreneur has been doing initial testing, which includes learning ways to strengthen the functionality of the device. Ryan said:

“This kind of real-world validation is exactly why this stage matters and it’s already making the product stronger.

“This prototype marks a major step forward as we move closer to creating a truly effective sleep solution inspired by real motion.”
