An app designed to help people with food allergies, intolerances, and dietary needs has been launched by a Loughborough founder.
Kate Alderson, a UK StartUp Awards Midlands Graduate StartUp of the Year finalist, aims for her startup Freeater to provide clarity around food choices for those who often face challenges when eating out or checking menus. She said:
“Today, I’m incredibly proud to say that Freeater is live.
“Freeater helps people with dietary needs discover, check, and choose food that fits them, without the guesswork.
“Importantly, it works for groups. Because finding somewhere that works for everyone shouldn’t feel impossible.”
The entrepreneur is seeking 1,000 followers on her business’s Instagram account as they launch the platform.
