A Loughborough graduate has been awarded Living With Disability’s Innovation Award.

Katie Michaels’ Moti Me is an edtech startup that makes a physiotherapy device to help children with movement disabilities.

Tested by more than 100 children with a broad range of additional needs and across 30+ healthcare organisations nationwide, Moti Me is now completing regulatory compliance testing and preparing to manufacture its first medical device, Moti Me BUDDY.

Living with Disability is a magazine that shares and informs those living with a disability (and their families and friends) on a range of news and features.

In 2023 Katie was selected as the winner of the Leicester Startups Accelerator and has been named one of Innovate UK’s most innovate women.
