Krishna Dhakan-Bush, a product manager at EdgePetrol, has announced the launch of a wedding planning app designed specifically for South Asian traditions.
Evaraa Events was built during Lovable’s SheBuilds hackathon and addresses a gap Krishna identified when planning her own multi-cultural wedding, which spanned five functions across Indian and British traditions.
The app maps ceremonies across four South Asian communities, merges traditions for mixed weddings, builds event-by-event budgets, and includes local Leicester supplier matching.
Krishna said:
