Charity’s popular grant scheme reopens to Leicestershire businesses

Applications are open to Leicestershire businesses for a grant of up to £5k. 

Leicester charity The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity is re-running its popular grant scheme following a pilot in 2021 to help businesses recover from the pandemic.

The grant is open to anyone who meets the eligibility criteria, which include; running your business for between 1 and 5 years; an annual turnover of between £8k and £150k; and be able to demonstrate a real need. For a full list of the eligibility criteria, visit here.

In 2024, the Sir Thomas White Loan Charity awarded 23 grants from 125 applicants, which totalled £103,000 – the largest amount ever awarded by the Charity.

This year’s deadline 3.30pm on 25^th August 2025.
