An AI personal assistant for adults with ADHD (Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) developed in Leicester has been named one of the best startups in the UK.
Neuro App won Digital Startup of the Year 2025 at the UK Startup Awards.
Founder Josh Budd, who’s a previous participant on the Leicester Startups Accelerator, said being recognised in this way was a testament to the hard work of his team to “end the cycle of ADHDers feeling broken by systems not designed for them.”
He added:
“We know this community is sick and tired of being oversold and underdelivered, and we are here to break that pattern and give you something that actually works .
“We wouldn’t have even got this far if it wasn’t for the support of everyone who has supported us on the journey… even through simple conversations. So thank you.”
Leicester based Seed Print also celebrated its first ever award at the UK Startup Awards 2025. The business which produced plantable business cards printed on wildflower seed paper scooped the Rising Star Award. Whilst Melton Mowbray based Woodcote Events won in the category of Hospitality, Tourism & Events StartUp of the Year.
