A Hinckley startup’s ‘world first’ product on Kickstarter, which smashed its funding goal within 22 minutes of going live, has now ended its Kickstarter campaign.
Flowgreens’ ScentXpresso – an in-shower aromatherapy spa – raised £117,551 from 541 backers after initially targeting £30k.
Having hit the £100k mark, the product was selected as a #ProjectWeLove by Kickstarter.
On Linkedin the trio of friends behind the startup shared their gratitude:
“What a month it has been! As we reflect on what we learnt and the experience we had we are left with a mix of emotions.
“The one that sits at the very top for all of us is pure gratitude. Our friends, family, and those that we don’t yet know (but hopefully will soon) that backed us turned up and left us in awe at the support that you gave, We feel humbled and incredibly lucky that you have supported us.
“This is about more than money to us, it’s about being able to do something meaningful and sharing the benefits of Aromatherapy with all. Let’s start empowering people to reclaim time for wellness in the busiest of lives.
