A Loughborough founder says the first investment in his startup represents a “huge milestone” for his business.

Mimic Motion has just closed a funding round, which was based on a £500k valuation.

The company has designed a device which aims to transform babies sleep with technology that mimics the same effect as riding in a car.

Founder Ryan White says they connected with the investor through the startup community:

“After initial conversations, we shared our business plan, product concept, and roadmap, highlighting the science behind the “car ride sleep effect” and how our solution could scale into a global product.”

“This investment brings us closer to delivering solutions that truly make a difference for families, combining cutting-edge research with practical, everyday impact. We extend our sincere gratitude to our investor for believing in our vision and joining us on this journey.”
