Leicester fintech named one of the best in UK

A Leicester startup has been named one of the top 50 fintech businesses in the UK.

Inicio AI was placed 18th in BusinessCloud’s FinTech 50 list, which celebrates businesses creating original tech for payments and the financial industry.

Founder Rachel Curtis’ Inicio AI is a specialised virtual agent trained in managing income and expenditures.

Earlier this year Rachel won the title of ‘UK Tech Innovator 2025’ and awarded the national prize at KPMG’s UK Tech Innovator competition.
