A Leicester entrepreneur has launched pre-orders for gluten-free children’s book.
Kate Alderson is building an app called Freeater, which is a platform for families living with food allergies, intolerances or dietary restrictions. However the founder has also been penning a book inspired by her dad’s gluten-free journey.
Kate said:
“It’s a gentle story created to help children understand why food can feel different for them, learn to listen to their bodies, feel confident speaking up and know that being different is okay.”
Pre-orders for the book opened at the end of February to help fund illustrations.
The entrepreneur is also looking to connect with children’s book authors, parents, organisations or publishers for feedback.
