A Leicester startup has won a grant of £50k to develop a new analytics tool, which will help people taking apprenticeships reach their goals.

Rubitek is a platform that manages all aspects of an apprentice’s learning and it has just secured funding through the VocTech Seed grant.

The money will be used to develop a “game-changing predictive analytics tool dubbed” called ‘Project Flight Path’.

The tool which will forecast learner attainment by identifying and predicting potential moments of a student’s disengagement. This will enable tutors to intervene earlier, thereby making more apprenticeship completions and achievements possible.

Founder Kerry Linley said she’s excited about what’s to come:

“It was fantastic to attend the Ufi VocTech launch event for the 2023 cohort in beautiful surroundings at The RSA in London on 17th November.

“We got to meet the teams behind other projects and hear from last years winners.  We also learned more about the range of support on offer from the Ufi family which is about so much more than just the funding.

“Ufi’s funding will enable us to undertake additional game changing development this year, and their belief in us and our vision is testament to the hard work of the entire Rubitek team.  We can’t wait to get going!”

Rubitek is currently taking part in the Leicester Startups, which ends of Friday 9th December with Demo Day. You can register for free to watch a selection of our panel pitch to a panel of business experts and investors, and be in with a chance to win up to £150k investment.
