We know investment is one of the biggest barriers to growth and many of the startups we support continue to tell us they need help with this. In addition to launching our new Investment engine, we’ve also started an Investment Club:
Every month you’ll come together with other founders for an interactive online session that’s focused on closing an investment round. You’ll motivate each other by learning from your shared experiences, taking part in open, honest discussions, and reaching out for advice.
During each session, you’ll take a deep dive into some of the essentials of closing a funding round like assessing term sheets, valuing a business, and discovering where to find investors.
We’ll start by celebrating success with founders reporting on progress and results and together we’ll explore what can be learnt from the actions that led to that success. We’ll invite an expert to speak on topics such as value proposition, valuation, SEIS or exits, and seasoned investors who’ll critique your pitch and provide feedback on the parts that need improving.
We’ll end with a quick-fire round of requests for support. Perhaps you need an introduction to an advisor, subject matter expert or someone to review your data to improve your unit metrics?
