A Leicester founder has been recognised for her innovative climate based startup.
Dr Emma Fieldhouse, the founder of Future We Want, received one of Innovate UK’s 150 Purple Plaques at Rivseride Academy Trust.
The plaque recognises the innovation behind Dr Fieldhouse’s carbon footprint game ‘How Bad Are Bananas?’
The award also launched the development of a digital version of the game aimed for a global audience.
Dr Fieldhouse is now a climate ambassador for Riverside Academy in Birstall.
