An educational games startup in Leicester has become certified to a deliver ‘Carbon Literacy’.

Future We Want, which went through the Leicester Startups Accelerator, has been accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project to deliver courses to make people aware of the impact of everyday activities on the climate, and knowing what steps can be taken to reduce emissions.

Announcing it on Linkedin, the company said:

“So we have now been certified to deliver a ‘Carbon Literacy for Educators’ course which we’ll be launching this September – calling all #climatechange#climateaction#stemeducation#educators let us know if you’re interested and lookout 👀 for updates here when the online shop is open!!”
Earlier this month the startup also announced it had grown by hiring a new ‘Lead Game Developer’, who will work on digitising their game ‘How Bad Are Bananas?’.
