A Leicester founder has launched the beta website of his startup which aims to make it easier to plan funerals.
Membrance claims to handle everything from customised funeral notices to the ability to design and print orders of service.
Martin Lewis’ startup journey was inspired by the death of his own dad a few years ago and how planning the funeral was very stressful.
He said on Linkedin:
“Super proud of our beta site, it’s been months of hard work but we finally have working software on the live server and it feels great. I’ve made a video of the first template I designed for Membrance during one of the lockdowns many moons ago.”

Martin is now urging funeral homes that want to offer their customers access to Membrance to book a demo.
