Leicester entrepreneur Simon Sansome has been shortlisted for for a National Diversity Award.
The founder of Snowball is up for ‘Entrepreneur of Excellence’.
The event sponsored by HSBC is dubbed “the UK’s most prestigious diversity event” and aims to celebrate the achievements of grass-roots communities.
Simon, who sustained a life changing injury in his early-30’s, has since won numerous awards for his startup, has produced a documentary about his life and has acted as Co-Chair of the Disability Journalism Forum.
His app, which helps disabled people better access the world around them, boasts being the world’s largest disability app.
