A medtech startup in Leicester has launched version two of its app to help child diabetes sufferers.
HEAL.med is based at De Montfort University’s Innovation Centre and their platform Deapp (Diabetes Education App) helps young people understand their condition through a series of interactive games.
The updated app has improved features for heathcare professional.
Director of HEAL.med Lee Paxman-Clarke said:
“The growth at HEAL.med Community Interest Company is on a really positive trajectory. We are so proud of our Deapp and the 18,636 iOS downloads and the 5k+ Google downloads, it has done an amazing Job.
“Now onto a new chapter Deapp 2.0!”
