The Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnersip (LLEP) is searching for a new chair with a “significant track record of organisational leadership, entrepreneurship and management”.

The unpaid role covers three years and demands at least four days commitment each month to help be the voice locally, nationally and internationally to drive economic growth in Leicester/shire.

Launched in 2011, the LLEP has helped allocate £200 million of investment plus a further £360 million of match funding into key projects such as the St Margaret’s regeneration gateway, Charnwood Campus biomedical science park, Space Park Leicester, the MIRA Enterprise Zone, near Hinckley, and the more recent Loughborough and Leicester Science and Innovation Enterprise Zone.

The closing date for applications is July 1 and interviews will take place in the week starting July 11.
